Speaking on the sidelines of the 15th CII Global Business Summit organised by The Ministry of MSME and CII in the capital, the Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation Mr. Suresh Prabhu highlighted key aspects that could uplift the MSME sector.He also stated that, “the government is working on action plans that will support the SMEs to take this vision forward. We have been working on strategies to build linkages between countries and companies, in essence of creating new partnerships of supply chain.”The minister also spoke of the small and medium enterprises (MSME) being the backbone of the entire industrial economic system and how the exports are an integral element for SMEs.Giriraj Singh, Minister of State for MSME said, “the MSME’s growth wave was evident enough. For the first time ever, we are seeing the Indian MSMEs compete on a global level. We have now made it possible for new entrepreneurs to register themselves in not more than 3 minutes,” he said.
