UP International Trade Show 2023 to showcase over 2000 exhibitors in various sectors

The Uttar Pradesh government is hosting the UP International Trade Show 2023 from September 21 to 25, with the goal of recognising Uttar Pradesh’s startups, industries, micro, small, and medium businesses (MSME), and indigenous crafts on a global scale. This trade expo, which will be held in Greater Noida, will include over 2000 exhibitors from Uttar Pradesh. The festival intends to not only promote traditional crafts from the state, but also to introduce new entrepreneurial items to global shoppers.

The International Trade Show will also showcase the ‘Hall of Town of Export Excellence,’ which will highlight the great craftsmanship of 12 cities in Uttar Pradesh.

Furthermore, it will emphasise to global purchasers the state’s strong basis in the health and wellness sector.

In this trade show, more than 2,000 exhibitors from UP will showcase their products from various sectors. These sectors include agriculture and horticulture, defense corridor, e-commerce, banking and financial services, education (universities, sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics), infrastructure, engineering and manufacturing, film sector, food processing and dairy products, GI tag products, handlooms, handicrafts, textiles, retail, health and wellness (Ayush, yoga, unani, naturopathy), IT, ITES, MSMEs, Namami Gange and Jal Shakti, ODOP, renewable energy and e-vehicles, sports sector, tourism and hospitality sector, toy industry, warehousing and logistics, women entrepreneur along with other sectors.

ODOP artisans will connect directly with buyers

The primary purpose of the UP government through this trade exhibition is to give a global platform for One District One Product (ODOP). While the exhibitors will be able to network, a suitable channel between company and customer (B2C) will also be built, allowing purchasers to connect directly with the artists and place orders for the products.

Special preparations are also being made to highlight the unique culinary traditions of several regions in Uttar Pradesh. Visitors can sample delectable and scrumptious cuisine cooked in various sections of the state. The Millets Canteen, which will serve a variety of meals produced from coarse grains, will be one of the show’s major features.
