The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council’s (GJEPC’s) flagship B2B expo, IIJS Premiere, the 39th edition, will be held at two different venues in Mumbai city for the first time ever in its decades old history – JIO World Convention Centre and Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) NESCO, Goregaon.
When and Where
The world’s second largest gem & jewellery fair, IIJS Premiere 2023 will be held concurrently at JIO World Convention Centre (JWCC) Bandra Kurla Complex from 3rd to 7th August 2023 (Thursday-Monday); and at Bombay Exhibition Centre, NESCO, Goregaon East from 4th to 8th August 2023 (Friday-Tuesday) in Mumbai.

IIJS Premiere 2023 will witness the industry’s biggest gathering of domestic and international buyers, and serve as the primary platform for Indian jewellery manufacturers to network with retailers, enabling both segments to gain insight into product design and demand trends.
Visitors and Exhibitors
Talking of visitors, 40,000 visitors including international visitors (including global buyers) from 80+ countries and 800+ cities of India visiting the 39th edition of IIJS Premiere.
IIJS Premiere expo 2023 will have 1,850+ exhibitors, 3,250+ stalls spread over 70,000+ sq. mtrs of exhibition area.
The JIO World Convention Centre (JWCC) will feature more than 500 exhibitors, over 700 booths, and three halls (Pavilion 1, 2, and 3) across a 15,000 square meter area. The product categories at JIO comprise of Diamond, Gemstone, and other studded jewellery; Gold and Gold CZ studded jewellery; Loose Diamonds; Lab-grown Diamonds; Couture; Laboratories and Education; and International.
In the first year of its launch, JIO World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) creates a history of sorts by getting included in the venue list of IIJS Premiere 2023.
The Bombay Exhibition Centre Goregaon IIJS Premiere exhibition will showcase over 1350 exhibitors and 2550 booths, spread across six halls (Hall 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 7), covering a vast area of 55000 square meters. The product sections featured here include Diamond, Gemstone & Other Studded Jewellery; Gold & Gold CZ Studded Jewellery; Loose Stones – Colour Stones; Silver Jewellery, Artefacts & Gifting Items; Allied & Machinery.
Green paperless Expo
IIJS Premiere 2023 will be a Green Expo totally paperless and 50,000+ trees to be planted on behalf of each of the expected visitors. The GJEPC will continue with its “One Earth” initiative, which was initiated in the beginning of Year 2023. As of today, 187 contributors have planted a staggering 51,219 trees. The objective is to plant 100,000 trees this year.
