T-Hub, India’s leading startup incubator, celebrated its 9th Foundation Day as the Telangana government announced its commitment to elevating this incubator into a world-leading innovation hub, focused on fostering the growth of minicorns and soonicorns.
The event highlighted T-Hub’s remarkable journey, introduced transformative new initiatives, and facilitated insightful discussions on shaping the future of India’s startup ecosystem.
Under the Telangana Government’s leadership, T-Hub has been key in helping 11 soonicorns and 58 minicorns grow, with plans to support even more startups on their way to becoming unicorns. This strengthens Telangana’s reputation as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. With T-Hub playing a pivotal role, the state aims to solidify its global position as an innovation hub by providing startups with resources, mentorship, and funding to thrive.
Sridhar Babu Duddila, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Industry & Commerce, Government of Telangana said, “T-Hub, as we all know, has been a tech-startup coworking infrastructure. Our vision for T-Hub is ambitious: we aim to transform it from a coworking space into a dynamic innovation centre, elevating it from simple infrastructure to a powerhouse of intelligence hub, from only supporting startups to actively nurturing soonicorns and the next wave of unicorns, from reliance on grants to strategic funding, from basic incubation to true accelerator. This transformation is not just a step forward for startups—it will be a catalyst for industry-wide growth and a bold statement that Telangana is poised to be a global leader in innovation and entrepreneurship.”
T-Hub also unveiled Experience Centre 2.0, a state-of-the-art facility designed to showcase innovative solutions from over 20 startups. Equipped with interactive digital displays, the center provides a platform for startups to engage with corporates, investors, and government stakeholders, fostering partnerships and driving business growth.
Sujit Jagirdar, CEO of T-Hub, added, “As we celebrate nine years of transforming the startup landscape, T-Hub remains steadfast in its mission to empower startups, foster collaboration, and drive India’s economic growth. Our new initiatives are designed to create lasting impact and accelerate the journey of innovation.”
A key highlight was the launch of T-DRIVE, an exclusive platform for defense and aerospace startups. T-DRIVE aims to address sector-specific challenges by linking startups with corporates, academia, and the wider innovation ecosystem. While startups bring agility and innovation, they often lack resources and access to industry networks.
T-DRIVE supports the development and commercialisation of defense technologies, aligning with the “Make in India” initiative to foster self-reliance, reduce imports, and enhance national defense capabilities. This initiative underscores T- Hub’s commitment to impactful innovation, empowering young talent and contributing to India’s defense excellence.
Adding to the celebrations, T-Hub showcased three groundbreaking products developed within its ecosystem. HirePlusPlus introduced Maya, the world’s first AI- powered interviewer, redefining recruitment processes with unbiased, automated assessments. Gravton Motors presented scalable electric powertrain solutions for EVs and drones, pushing the boundaries of sustainable mobility. Meridian Data Labs revealed Honeycomb, a real-time IoT platform integrating geospatial analysis and GenAI for industries such as defense and smart cities.
With these transformative steps, T-Hub continues to lead India’s innovation movement, driving collaboration, empowering startups, and laying the foundation for a robust, innovation-driven future.
