Key takeaways from Economic Survey 2017-18

Finance minister Arun Jaitley tabled the Economic Survey 2017-18 in Parliament on 29 January 2018. The survey, which is an account of how the economy fared in last 12 months, has revealed some interesting facts about the Indian economy. It says that India could be rated as among the best performing economies in the world and its GDP is pegged to grow at 7 to 7.5% in 2018-19.
