Moradabad is popularly known as the Brass City of the country, and comes under ODOP status for its brass industry. Many countries like Britain, US, Middle East, Germany and Canada import brass handicrafts and brassware from Moradabad. It exports brass items worth Rs. 4500 crores annually.
