  • In India there are 48 million SMEs. It is reported that 50 per cent SMEs will shut down if the global panic extends up-to 8 weeks.




  • Over 50 per cent of Indian companies see impact on their operations and nearly 80 per cent have witnessed decline in cash flows, says a survey.




  • Rupee vs Dollar: Rupee fell to all-time low of 76.15 on coronavirus scare.




  • As on March 23, the Sensex ended at 25,981, down 3,934 points, while Nifty fell 13% to 7,610 – their biggest one-day fall ever.
