World Tourism Day 2023: Govt launches ‘Travel for LiFE’ campaign

According to the Ministry of Tourism, the campaign has been unveiled in the Delhi Metro, with a vibrant display on both the exterior and interior of selected metro trains on the Yellow and Blue lines.

Every year, on September 27th, nations across the globe come together to commemorate World Tourism Day, a momentous occasion that reflects on the transformative power of travel. In 2023, the theme of this year’s World Tourism Day – “Tourism for Inclusive Growth” – beckons us to ponder the intricate relationship between travel and the prosperity of nations and individuals alike.

The Ministry of Tourism (Northern Region), marked the occasion of World Tourism Day 2023 with a grand launch of the ‘Travel for LiFE’ campaign alongside the renowned ‘Incredible India’ initiative.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, the campaign has been unveiled in the Delhi Metro, with a vibrant display on both the exterior and interior of selected metro trains on the Yellow and Blue lines.

This campaign invites travellers to foster companionship and cultural exchange as they journey through different destinations. It carries the message of promoting responsible and sustainable tourism. Through eye-catching visuals and thought-provoking slogans displayed both inside and outside Delhi Metro trains, it aims to inspire travellers to explore the world while being mindful of the environment and local cultures.

Speaking on the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Chief Product Officer at Royal Sundaram General Insurance, Nikhil Apte says, “Travel insurance isn’t just a safety net; it’s the cornerstone of worry-free exploration.
